When It’s Late AT Night..

Sometimes, the deepest conversations we have are the ones we hold with ourselves — late at night, when the world is quiet and the masks come off. This reflection came to me in one of those moments: lying in a dark room, scrolling through my feed, questioning everything and somehow finding peace in the process.

If you’ve ever felt like you were walking through the fire alone, I hope this piece reminds you that you’re not. Here’s a piece of my heart, shaped into poetry.

“Midnight Scrolls & Silent Faith”

In a room draped in shadows,

While the city sleeps,

I scroll through fragments of other lives—

Questions echo:

Why is this happening?

Better yet—

What am I meant to learn from all of this?

I laugh loud in daylight,

Smiles wide, joy painted bright—

But few ever see

The weight I carry

Silently, faithfully.

I walk with faith—

Blind faith, at that.

But it wasn’t always this way.

Don’t be fooled,

This light was forged

In years of darkness.

You think peace came easy?

Nah.

I clawed my way through pain,

Fell in silence,

Bled through prayers,

And still stood up.

The Creator’s been preparing me—

Painful lessons, silent nights,

And now I see:

This path I walk

Isn’t just mine.

I was made to shine in the shadows,

To be a light

When others can’t find theirs.

Funny, I never thought

That would be me.

Faith is no easy robe to wear.

People think “The Chosen” glow with glory.

But truth?

We walk through fire

While wearing grace.

We sit in the corners,

Eyes swollen,

Begging God

To take the pain away.

Yet somehow,

We rise.

Every. Single. Time.

Healing isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like quiet strength in the middle of chaos. Sometimes it’s blind faith when nothing makes sense.

If you’re in a season of darkness, just know — it’s not the end. Maybe, like me, you’re being prepared for something greater than you ever imagined. Keep walking. Keep shining. And when in doubt, trust the process.
